SUMMARY:The Power of Patients: Safety, Equtiy and Engagement
DESCRIPTION:The Atlantic Learning Exchange (ALE) Conference is held every two years, rotating between the four Atlantic Provinces, and brings together over 200 of the brightest and most engaged patient safety and healthcare quality leaders, physicians, staff and patient family representatives.  Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, ALE 2024 will be the first time this event has been held since 2019. New to the event for 2024 is an interactive Showcase and Learning Exchange. Selected applicants will showcase their work and engage with participants in an interactive setting.\nThe 2024 Atlantic Learning Exchange Conference would like to highlight initiatives that improve the quality and safety of care and/or patient and family experience in the following areas:\n\nPatient, Client, and Family Engagement\nSafety\nEquity\n\nKey Topics Include: \n\nRethinking Patient Safety\nThe Power of Patient Stories\nUnleashing our Greatness in a Changing World\n\nConference Dates:\nTuesday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 23, 2024\nConference Language:\nThe conference will be conducted in English and in French, with simultaneous interpretation available.\nConference Location:\nDelta Hotels by Marriott Beausejour\n750 Main Street, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, E1C 1E6\nClick here to view map.\n
