SUMMARY:The Quintuple Aim: Can’t Get There From Here?
DESCRIPTION:March 12-13, 2026 | UBC Vancouver Campus or Virtual\nCHSPR will hold its 38th annual health policy conference March 12-13, 2026 at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre on the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus. This long-standing Canadian health policy conference promotes debate and discussion on timely issues facing health systems in Canada.\nThe 2026 conference will engage attendees in policy debates associated with provinces’ and territories’ progress toward the Quintuple Aim. The Quintuple Aim calls for improving population health, slowing healthcare spending growth, improving patient experience, and improving the health of the workforce, while addressing cross-cutting domains of health equity.\nThe Quintuple Aim is important across Canada. The framework’s domains are recognized objectives of many provincial health systems – the funders of publicly available healthcare. Given provinces’ and territories’ struggles to ensure timely access to healthcare, slow cost growth, and provide culturally appropriate health services, review of the policies and activities associated with achieving the Quintuple aims is directly relevant to provinces, territories and Canada’s federal government.\nInternational and domestic speakers will share their latest policy analyses, research, insights, and predictions. The conference will include participation from diverse groups from across the country and representation from public and private healthcare policymakers, academics, providers, patients, trainees, and national and provincial organizations. The Scientific Program and Organizing committees look forward to welcoming you!\n
