Biographie
Dr Dina Gaid becomes a post-doctoral fellow for the rehabilitation Science program at the University of Montreal in Winter 2021. Prior to joining the university, Dr Gaid obtained her doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Science from McGill University. Her research interests related to utilizing different knowledge translation strategies to promote evidence-based clinical practices. More specifically, her research focuses on optimizing the use of knowledge brokers as one of the promising knowledge translation strategies to facilitate the uptake of research evidence. Dr Gaid will carry out her post-doctoral internship within the framework of the CARE Diabetes project. She will contribute to the implementation of the project by integrating the knowledge brokering strategy. She will also conduct a literature review on the utilization of knowledge brokers for chronic conditions. In addition, she has the intention to explore the integration of knowledge translation strategies within the quality improvement plans in the healthcare sector.
